Casdifinish MSS: stiffener and stabilizer for cotton
Fabric stiffening agent · Shrinkage control
Provides rigidity and stabilizes cotton fabrics to improve shrinkage control during finishing processes.
Properties
- Viscous opaque/yellowish liquid with density between 1.1 - 1.3 g/cm3.
- pH range: 11.0 - 12.0.
- Easily dilutes in cold water with agitation.
- Compatible with other auxiliaries; preliminary lab tests recommended.
- Stable for at least 6 months when stored between 5–25°C.
- Designed for finishing denim cotton fabrics, including elastic blends.
Uses
- Finishing of 100% cotton denim fabrics and elastic blends.
- Used for selvage sizing and improving shrinkage control.
- Compatible with softening agents.
- Removable without enzymatic treatment using hot water wash (85°C) with 2.0 g/l sodium carbonate.
