Valumax A 838: cellulase enzyme for denim stone washing

Properties

• Chemical nature: cellulase produced by submerged fermentation of modified microorganisms
• Solubility: fully soluble in water
• Activity: 2400 ECU/g (enzyme cellulase units)
• Stability: good under normal use
• Storage: keeps its activity for 3 months from delivery, in the original container between 0 and 25 °C. Once opened, use soon and close tightly after each use

Uses

• Stone washing of denim garments at room temperature
• Needs no other products: formulated with anti-redeposition agents and buffers that keep the bath between pH 6 and 8
• High color contrast and good lot-to-lot reproducibility
• Inactivation at the end of the treatment: wash with 2.0 g/l detergent and 1 - 2 g/l sodium carbonate at 80 °C for 15 minutes
