Properties
- Provides excellent exhaustion, fullness, softness, and good light fastness.
- Brightens chrome leathers, making them ideal for brilliant and level dyeing.
- Good dispersing agent for vegetable extracts; improves color uniformity.
- Excellent for nubuck articles due to good grinding properties.
Uses
- Use 5–8% over shaved weight after neutralization and prior to dyeing and fatliquoring.
- In vegetable tanning, helps clarify extract solutions and improve penetration.
- Recommended for white, pastel, or nubuck articles requiring bright shades.
