Non-emulsifiable paraffin oil for soft feel, increased tear strength, and dry-cleaning resistance.
Properties
- Does not yellow, suitable for white leathers.
- Improves tear resistance, especially in lightweight leathers.
- Gives body and softness while improving grain tightness.
- Ideal for washable leathers and those requiring dry-cleaning fastness.
Uses
- Used in fatliquoring mixtures in place of conventional water-insoluble oils.
- May require stronger neutralization or alkaline addition due to acid release upon fixation.
- Recommended for garments, upholstery, and nubuck leathers.
